I am buying a DVD tomorrow!?
For all you soccer fans. Is dare to dream. The documentary about the US woman’s soccer team any good? I am buying it used tomorrow morning.
Is it worth my money?
Yes, it is definitely worth the money. I love that movie, it is one of my favorites. I watched it for the first time a couple months ago and I’ve seen it at least 15 times since then, probably more. It’s got some really cool footage and pictures that give a unique view into what goes on off of the field. A surprisingly large part of the documentary is interviews with Julie Foudy, Mia Hamm, Kristine Lilly, Joy Fawcett, Brandi Chastain, Michelle Akers, etc. that appears to have been done specially for the movie. Trust me, you are not wasting your money.
Does it seem like soccer aficionados speak a language all their own? It sure seems like it to me, and I’ve been playing the game for over 20 years.
