Should I be worried about the hair on my legs?
In gym, we all have the same uniform of a short sleeve shirt and mesh shorts.
This is my first year in the uniform, and I am starting to feel uncomfortable. I am not totally obbsessed with it, but it is just one of those things that sort of frustrating.
For example: We are playing soccer, no shin guards. I am going for the ball, and so is a sporty guy. I aim to kick it out of his way, and he does at the same time. He ends up kicking me painfully in the shin.
Our overreacting gym teachers run over and want us to sit down so they can examine our shins. So the whole class crowds around me and my hairy legs, examining them to see a future bruise forming.
The hair there isn’t dark, sortof goldenish, but still….
Do you think I should be worrying about it at my age? I am only in 6th grade, but it just makes me feel…insecure.
I had the same problem (the hair thing not the shine thing) for me it was just embarrassing. Especial Sense I seat across from the guy I like. And It seamed to me that everyone but me and the guys had hair legs. And so I went home that day locked myself in the bathroom got a razor and shaved.
-So what I’m trying to say is if it’s a BIG problem, and if it makes you feel self Concise, Then go ahead. I know I know it sounds superficial, But in the long run it gives your self esteem a little boost. And it’s one less thing to worry about.(As in in the 6th grade we start to care about the stupidest things hair, looks, etc.)
