Football is the most popular sport in the world, not just to watch but also to play. Over the years the game has evolved and developed into the high paced, action packed game that we see today. Over the years there have been a lot of changes in the format of leagues and competitions, in the style of play and also in the football shirts and kits worn by the players. No longer are the soccer jerseys plain cotton shirts, like they were when football started, the shirts are now made of synthetic material to try and give the player a more comfortable and better fitting football shirt.

The technology that is involved in the modern football shirts, never mind the rest of the football equipment, is huge with materials being specially developed and used to try and take sweat away from the body and keep the players dry throughout the game.
