Can you appeal a red card in FIFA soccer?

I was wondering if a red card can be appealed in fifa rules. because in the USA spain game today michael bradley got the weakest red card ever. that was the biggest bull crap and there is no way he should miss the final for it. it shouldnt even be a card, or a freakin foul! and i know in high school and college you can appeal a red card so that you dont have to miss the next game. so i was wondering if you can do that in fifa too. so if you know, tell me please. thanks

It might have been a weak challenge for a red card but he came in 2 footed. For a while now 2 footed tackles have been banned as serious foul play and the offender therefore given a straight red card. They are dangerous and unnecessary. It is page 119.

As for appeals no, FIFA regulations state that judgment of facts are to be determined by the ref. Therefore under FIFA rules really nothing is reviewable. UEFA regulations state that a card could only be appealed if the card is given to the wrong person. The England appeal system is unique.
