Adipure soccer cleats and mink oil?
I just bought a pair of new adipure soccer cleats and they are beginning to lose there softness. So i went out and bought some mink oil to keep them soft. Only problem is that in the care book for the shoes it says that the shoes don’t need waterproofing and the stuff that i bought said that it repels water. Is it still ok to use on the shoes, they are kangaroo leather by the way. They won’t wreck them or anything, right.
You better be sure there kanagaroo leather. If they are you could use mink oil, but i really recomend you use leather food.
If you really dont care and just want it softer than what it is now, even just by a little, go ahead and use the oil. It says they dont need water repelent, not that it will hurt the boot.
Does it seem like soccer aficionados speak a language all their own? It sure seems like it to me, and I’ve been playing the game for over 20 years. I put an article on the front page of this blog to help explain the most common soccer terms in plain English. Hopefully this list will help soccer moms everywhere (and soccer dads too, for that matter)to better understand what their little athlete is talking about! Click Here For Access: Soccer Terms.
